Everyone can sign up as a ClickBank affiliate, while CPA networks will check every applicant before accepting them. Most CPA Networks are reasonably easy to join, at least as long as you have some experience as an Internet marketer. But even beginners are accepted by some networks. Generally, it is no problem getting accepted by the US networks even if you live outside the US. You will look more professional if you use your company rather than your own name when you apply to the CPA networks.

Most CPA networks have a multitude of different offers you can promote. If you are a beginner, just join two or three networks. Otherwise, you may get confused by the sheer amount of offers you can promote. You also have a number of different types of offers. The most common types are email submit, ZIP code submits, short forms, long forms, sales, free trials and downloads.

If you are a beginner, the easiest offers to promote are email submits and ZIP code submits. These offers do not pay much per lead but they convert very well. ZIP code submits mean that the users have to enter their full address, not just the ZIP code. Email submits just require a valid email address and sometimes the first name of the user.

It is a good idea to cut down the number offers you promote by focusing on just one or two niches. This way you can learn what kind of customers you should target to get maximum return. By knowing the demographics of your market you can drive more targeted traffic to your offers and this gives you higher conversion rates. This is the key to making big money in CPA marketing.

I do not recommend using yahoo or rediff to email market. You really need to look into getting a professional autoresponder such as Aweber so that you are in compliance with SPAM laws. Using a normal email account at yahoo or aol does not encompass the tools you are going to need to do this properly. Good Luck to You!

I’ve been researching this topic for a few months now, and it seems that there are a million and one scams and ripoffs out there. But nobody seems to be wanting to share any real and true information on the subject, at least not without my sending them a substantial amount of money.

There are none that you can do without having any specific knowledge. There are people that make money being affiliates, some will produce software, create websites or/and graphics.
From zero you will ideally set up a blog and start blogging.
Or even look at other people’s blogs, see the banners on them they are ads from google or similar networks, when people click on them you get a few pennies or a few dollars.

I am currently working with a few CPA Networks. [NeverBueAds, Azoogle, Copeac]

I am doing around 1/k month now, and I don’t know what I should do about Taxes. All that 1K of revenue is not pure profit, I also have expenses that are used to make that money, about 1K/month. I need to fill out a W-9 form before I could get my earnings. However, I just do it under my own name, as there is really nothing to worry about.

However, would I need to set up something, like a LLC or something, I feel I should only pay taxes in my profits and not on all revenue. So I would be writing off computers, internet, % of my home for office space, and then other things related to my Search Marketing process.

You can very well continue as you are doing right now — sole proprietor. You don’t have to complicate your life and create an LLC, C corp or S Corp in order to deduct your business expenses.

Use Schedule C to list your income and expenses. You can deduct from your taxes your business expenses such as webhosting fees, advertising fees, purchase of computers, office supplies, even do home business deductions if you operate your business from home.
