I am looking to use a Network Attached Storage device for home use, but i am not sure which device to choose.

I would like to keep costs reasonable while obtaining raid 5 reliability. There are many products on the market, but reviews for these products are either limited or do not seem to have high rankings of the products.

Can someone suggest a good information source? or alternatively a recommendation.

Personally, I would run a RAID 10 with 4 drives. RAID 5 has big performance hits. Too many read and writes shorten lifetime of drives and will cost more in the long run only with 3 drives compared to 4 with RAID 10. I left a link below, but do a search for RAID 5 vs RAID 10, RAID is definitely more favorable.

Last year I bought 4 500GB Western Digital Drives for about $55, so I’d imagine you can do better than that now.

As far as NAS goes, it seems like almost all of them are overpriced and have slow transfer rates. The whole point is that you don’t want your external drives to be bottlenecked by the configuration you choose. Depending on your drives they will probably not be reading/writing faster than 80 MB/s. With 4 drives, you want to make sure that you have throughput of about 320 MB/s.

So the cheapest solution if possible is to setup a RAID on a computer that is accessible to the whole network. If you’re Motherboard supports RAID and has 4 SATA connection that is your best and cheapest solution or you can you can buy a good PCIe RAID Controller Card if your motherboard doesn’t support RAID. Make sure the PCIe slot is at least PCIe x2 because PCIe x1 will only give you 250 MB/s in bandwidth as opposed to 500 MB/s, not to mention the RAID Controller Card you choose should be capable at running 2x as well.

Technically, you could even build a very cheap computer that cost less than a good NAS but will be just as fast or faster and way more uses than a dumbbox.

Obviously if money was not object you can buy a top of the line NAS from a good company like Promise, but even their home NAS transfers only at 1000 Mb/s, which is really 120 MB/s.

I have very limited HTML knowledge and would ideally like a very simple solution that will also be able to track & report responses.

Do you think getting a MBA is a good way to go with all the aforementioned designations and licenses to get into IB?

It is one approach but it is no guarantee that he will get into investment banking. with all his certifications, he may want to try applying for an IB job first to see if he can get one without another two years of study.

I see that everything is available for free on the internet and I really doubt how can someone make an income online? My brother used to have an Adult Site and did a good income before selling memberships to it, but he’s now very upset because it doesn’t make any money anymore. He says that everything is for free and people don’t pay for it anymore..

Yes it is possible to make money on the internet. It is not easy to be successful at it however and it doesn’t happen over night. It will most likely take a short while before you see your first dollar. You have to promote and work hard.

Try Affiliate Programs and since sex still sells,although there is a ton of free porn try promoting an adult affiliate program.

One very good adult affiliate program I use and make money from is the adult webmaster empire. Set up a good co-brand site send some traffic and you should be making some good money soon. They also have a forum with many experienced affiliates who would be happy to provide you with assistance and help get you started. It is off -course free to become an affiliate won’t cost a thing.

I would like to know what is a W-9 form.

I am currently working for CPA Networks such as Azoogle, RocetProfit, NeverBlueAds and others.

Is this any legal troubles? It was needed for them before they can send payments.

I don’t have an TIN number, and I was just going to use my SS number.

A W-9 tax form is a Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. Taxpayers use it when they form a business that is required to report to the IRS as a separate accounting entity. Corporations and Partnerships use it to request an number.

I am a Clickbank affiliate marketer and so far I have made 2 sales worth 60$. But I have a sort of suspicion that some of my commissions are not getting into my account. Can it be?
Also someone tell me how their hoplink tracking system works. I click on my hoplinks but I see no addition to the number of hoplink clicks on clickbank, I do it again but nothing. I even go to the product order form but still no order form impression count. Is their system faulty.
I want to know before I waste my energy on them.

I use ClinkBank and others. They are legit. Hoplinks will not show up because of cookies on your own browser that they know its you. There are other programs that are very good as well. One thing is that you should not have to PAY to become an affiliate. I personally like reselling for a company that designs websites for contractors.

These guys build websites and offer $50 for any lead you send them that turns into a sale. They have a full blown automated affiliate program so all you need to do is promote their services on your blog or website. If a visitor likes what they read and click on your link to their site and they place an order, the software will send you $50 in your PayPal account. You almost always need a PayPal account for affiliate programs ( or a real business bank account ).
