There are people making a living solely from clickbank. they have more than 100,000 affiliates, you cam bet there are 1000s who signed up but never made a sale. It does take a lot of web site traffic, or a good mailing list to actually make sales.

I’m looking for an affiliate program like Clickbank for promoting specific iPhone apps within my website. Kind of like AdSense where I can implement pay per click adverts but a commission based program would work too. Does such a program exist or would I have to contact the devs of the apps I want to promote? What sort of control does apple have over who can promote third party apps available in their app store?
I wasn’t expecting much, just figured if I’m going to have external links for apps, why not generate revenue.

Apple has an affiliate program that pays a tiny amount, like 1% on sales you bring them.

Sorry but it seems the real action is advertising within apps.

You can use ClickBank and sell by email if you wish, easy to do but you do need good writing materials, there is plent of free stuffs. I want to sell an e-book, I wonder which affiliate program would give me the highest return. What about Clickbank?
