There are two categories of email marketing.
- Legit email marketing involves a person subscribing to your news/offers out of pure interest.
- Then, there is mass email marketing where emails are sent to "leads" obtained through different ways (per day, week, month, or whatever) with content.

Email Press Releases
Email Newsletters
Email Surveys
Email Invitations

Do you know of any FREE email marketing software?
I’m just wondering if anyone knows of any free email marketing software. It is important that both the download of the software and the amount of mail you can send with it are both free. I know there is loads of software on the market that you can pay for, but trying to see if I can find any free stuff before paying for it.

What is a good mass email marketing company?
Hi! I run a small business and send out about 270 emails a month to my clients. I am currently using resultsmail.com but am having issues with editing my emails through them. I was wondering if any one knew of any mass email marketing companies that I could look into. I currently pay 25.00 a month and would like to keep it in that price range. Thanks for all your help!

Is this too expensive for email marketing software?
My boss spends over £300 a month on a subscription to an email marketing software that allows him to send a newsletter out to thousands of contacts at a time. I told this to someone who works in this kind of thing and he said that you can get the same thing for about £15 a month. I told my boss about this and he ignored my advice and when I mentioned it to somebody else in the office they said that he probably uses that software because the guy who runs it is his "friend".
